Position Summary The successful candidate will have the opportunity to contribute to the school's thriving Science department and inspire the next generation of scientists. The role entails: Designing and delivering engaging and rigorous Chemistry lessons aligned with the national curriculum and school's educational goals across Key Stages 3 and 4. Fostering a passion for science and critical thinking in students, equipping them with essential skills for the future. Assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and implementing personalized learning strategies to maximize individual potential. Collaborating with colleagues within the department and wider school community to develop and enhance the Science curriculum and extracurricular activities. Qualifications & Experience: Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry or a related field. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching certification. Proven experience teaching Chemistry at the secondary level, ideally across Key Stages 3 and 4. Ideal Candidate: Passionate about Chemistry and its real-world applications, with a strong commitment to student success. Possesses excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills. Ability to work collaboratively and independently, demonstrating initiative and adaptability.
