Role Highlights:
* Teach engaging Science lessons to KS3 and KS4 students
* Differentiate and adapt the curriculum to meet the specific needs of students with social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges
* Build positive relationships with students to foster trust, respect, and engagement in learning
* Work alongside a dedicated team of staff, including SEN professionals, to provide holistic support for students
* Encourage students’ academic and personal growth through tailored teaching strategies
* Contribute to the inclusive and supportive ethos of the alternative provision
Experience & Qualifications:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
* Experience teaching Science at KS3 and KS4
* A passion for working with students who may have additional needs, including SEMH
* Strong behavior management skills and a patient, empathetic approach
* Ability to create a positive and engaging learning environment for students with diverse needs
* Enhanced DBS check required
