The Position
Medical Affairs Partner - Breast Cancer

You will be working within the Medical Affairs Chapter in the Roche UK affiliate. Medical Affairs Partners are highly strategic, dedicated experts with a deep understanding of our internal & external needs. We leverage the highest levels of medical & scientific knowledge across the product life-cycle and we collaborate closely with the health system to continuously improve patient outcomes.
Key responsibilities:
1. Provide your medical affairs expertise to contribute, lead and deliver initiatives across aligned therapy area(s) on a local and global level.
2. Lead and develop strategic plans and deliverables within the therapy area.
3. Translating insights into actionable recommendations to impact the way we work.
4. Develop and cultivate relationships with therapeutic area experts and healthcare influencers.
5. Engage with the Roche medical affairs community, sharing your experiences and expertise to support team working and actively contributes to the learning & development of peers.
6. Provide medical review (and Certification if qualified) for materials and communications.
Qualifications and Experience
1. A scientific university degree, and preferably extensive Medical Affairs and NHS experience.
2. Broad and comprehensive expertise of theories, techniques and technologies within Medical Affairs (e.g. data & insight generation, scientific partnerships, medical education, medical strategy).
3. Experience working with and leading cross-functional teams to deliver high impact projects.
4. Mentoring and coaching Medical Affairs peers and stakeholder management.
5. Strong communication skills with an ability to distil complexity down to what matters externally.
6. Breast Cancer therapy area experience and final medical signatory status is preferred.
