GSL Education South Yorkshire are currently seeking to appoint an enthusiastic Primary Teacher to undertake a position at one of our client Primary schools in Dinnington. The School is looking for someone who can start ASAP. About the Primary Teaching Role: • Within the context of the school's curriculum and schemes of work, plan and teach lessons to the classes they are assigned to teach. • Maintain a thorough and up-to-date knowledge of the teaching of Science as a subject, along with Maths and English as well. • Assess, monitor, record, and report on the learning needs, progress, and achievements of assigned pupils. • Contribute to the development, implementation, and evaluation of the school’s policies, practices, and procedures in such a way as to support the school’s values, ethos, and vision. • Setting and marking of regular homework. About the Candidate: • Be a qualified Primary Teacher / Key Stage 1 (ideally with PGCE, GTP, B'Ed, Cert Ed, BA with QTS). • Demonstrate recent experience as a Primary Teacher or Trainee Teacher in a Primary School. • Have an understanding of teaching, learning, and assessment strategies. • Collaborate within the Science, English, and Mathematics team to contribute to the department's success. • Have an understanding of the curriculum and factors contributing to the learning experience of pupils. • Must have an Enhanced Child Workforce DBS or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
