We have an awesome opportunity to join us as a Female Support Worker in Caerphilly, South Wales. JOB PURPOSE: The role is to work with the client in, their own home and in the local community, enabling them to take part in daily and weekly social activities. The role includes assisting with her personal care at home and out in the community. Required to support her with all moving and handling needs, communication, social and recreational activities. You will be expected to accompany her to all her daily leisure activities and encourage her to develop her daily living skills. And accompany the young lady on holiday both in the UK and abroad. Female Support worker required due to personal care. UK full clean driving licence. What you'll be working: Location: Caerphilly, South Wales Up to 38hours a week Mondays to Sundays this can be made up of full/part time/bank Shift patterns are typically: 8am - 5pm 5pm - 11pm Sleepovers - 11Pm - 8am Pay Rates: Weekdays - 12.58 Weekends - 13.58 Sleep Over rate - National Minimum wage per hour. Female Support worker required due to personal care You will also be responsible for all domestic activities, such as cooking and cleaning. Work as part of a team. It will also involve support with planning and organising activities and structuring day to day life. The position requires that you work with the family and alongside another support workers. The position therefore requires that you work and conduct yourself in a manner that is acceptable to the employer. You will be expected to work flexible hours, during the day, in the evenings and weekends. What you'll be doing: ADMINISTRATIVE RESPONSIBILITIES To liaise and keep the Team Leader and Case Manager informed of all progress and any other matters of relevance. To be available for regular supervision with the Team Leader and Case Manager To complete online and attend training in relevant areas. To develop and maintain effective communication, with the client, family, case manager, and other relevant agencies. Any overtime will be at the discretion of the team leader and authorised by the Case Manager. KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES To assist in making available a wide range of activities to the client, to enable the client s integration into the local community. To provide support with personal care, both at home and when out in the community. Participate in external training and development activities as required Comply with all the employers procedures including financial, human resource, and health and safety.
