The role: We currently had a great opportunity for an Maintenance Assistant to join our team at Berkshire Independent Hospital, based in Reading. We are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated team leader of the hospital’s housekeeping team. As the Housekeeping Team Leader you will have great communication and interpersonal skills and will be able to demonstrate a broad experience in the cleaning sector within a healthcare setting, hotel or similar environment. You will take an active part in the team completing rotas and staff records. You will be responsible for completing training and auditsinspections to ensure we meet and exceed expectations, to drive constant development and improvement. Consideration will be taken for candidates who show the necessary qualities for this role. The Housekeeping Team Leader will oversee the cleaning standards of patient rooms, clinical and public areas throughout the Hospital. You will supervise the day-day activities of the Housekeepers, whilst training and developing the team’s skills and knowledge to ensure that high cleaning standards are met inline with the clinical expectations.
