Job Description
The Digital Manager will oversee the development, management, and execution of Aston Martin Aramco Formula One Team’s digital platforms and marketing automation tools to create engaging, data-driven, and first-class digital experiences for our fans.
Reporting to the Editorial & Digital Lead, the Digital Manager will play a key role in the execution of digital campaigns, website management, content distribution, and analytics while ensuring compliance with best practices in user experience, segmentation, and data security.
This position lives within the central Marketing team and will elevate the brand's digital presence, enhance fan engagement, and contribute to the delivery of the team’s ambitious brand and commercial objectives.
Responsibilities:
1. Digital Platform Development & Integration:
o Collaborate with external agencies and web developers to deliver enhanced website functionality and performance.
o Work closely with the editorial team to integrate and publish content across multi-channel campaigns.
o Optimise website components for improved UX and conversion based on analytics and feedback.
o Ensure all digital touchpoints are consistent with brand guidelines.
2. Platform Management & Maintenance:
o Manage the operation of digital and marketing automation platforms.
o Coordinate with internal and external development teams and agencies to maintain platform security and functionality.
3. Campaign Setup & Management:
o Direct communication with Aston Martin Aramco fans through creation and distribution of multi-channel campaigns (email, SMS, web push, WhatsApp, etc.) using a third-party orchestration tool, ensuring that advanced branching and flow capabilities are utilised.
o Optimise campaign performance through A/B and split testing and dynamic content.
o Define, build and execute manual and triggered campaigns, ensuring dynamic content is tailored based on data and event triggers.
o Enhance the user experience through testing and personalisation of website components.
o Develop custom templates and content for campaigns, ensuring brand consistency.
4. Content Management:
o Oversee content organisation, implementation, and presentation across digital platforms, ensuring relevance and accuracy.
o Manage the digital experience of the I / AM membership programme, including forms, surveys, and dynamic user data capture mechanisms.
5. Data Management & Compliance:
o Ensure GDPR compliance and robust data security across all operations.
o Implement real-time segmentation and predictive analytics for personalised user experiences and with reference to opt-ins and subscriber lists.
6. Analytics & Reporting:
o Monitor and analyse campaign performance and website traffic using inbuilt and external analytical tools.
o Provide detailed reports on channel and campaign effectiveness to optimise digital strategy and improve web and email performance.
7. Team Collaboration:
o Liaise with Editorial, Social, Communications, and Partnerships teams to ensure cohesive digital campaigns.
o Maintain relationships with external agencies to support digital strategy and execution, and management of web development agency and suppliers.
o Support cross-functional teams in delivering consistent, fan-first digital experiences.
Key skills:
1. Digital Strategy Expertise: Strong understanding of digital product and marketing strategies, including segmentation, personalisation, SEO, UX/UI best practices, and analytics.
2. Technical Proficiency: Hands-on experience with CMS platforms, email and marketing automation tools (e.g. Adobe) and analytics platforms (e.g. Google Analytics).
3. Content Management: Skilled in organising and publishing engaging digital content.
4. Compliance & Security: Deep knowledge of GDPR and data security protocols.
5. Collaboration: Proven ability to collaborate across diverse functions and with external partners and agencies; a strong team player and effective communicator with a collaborative approach.
6. Analytical Skills: Ability to interpret complex data and deliver accurate reports.
7. Adaptability: Able to multitask across multiple projects, work independently, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment with flexibility for unsocial hours during key events or critical projects.

The role will be based at the AMR Technology Campus in Silverstone or central London Commercial office, with an additional requirement to travel to other team offices as and when requested to meet the requirements of the Company.
