Your Profile: The ideal candidate will have a background in fast-paced, high-risk chilled food production and a thorough understanding of the transformation of raw materials into finished products. Experience with lean manufacturing methodologies such as 5S, Kaizen, and Kanban is highly desirable. The role demands a driven individual with a proven track record in man management, continuous process improvement, and excellent decision-making abilities. Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with personnel at all levels are essential. The Role: As a Shift Production Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of the production team and equipment, reporting directly to the Site Manager. You will manage four direct reports and indirectly oversee a team of 60-100 individuals. Your responsibilities will include: - Man management and team building - Driving the production team and monitoring production KPIs - Handling management issues, including disciplinary procedures - Structuring the site for optimal performance - Implementing continuous improvement and reliability measures - Budget and cost control - Ensuring the delivery of the company's vision and standards to all team members You will thrive in an extremely fast-paced continuous process environment, where meeting tight deadlines is the norm.
