Full-Time 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant - Burnham Monday to Friday, 08:30-16:00 We're seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 SEND Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Burnham. This full-time role is ideal for someone with prior experience working with children with special educational needs, particularly those with challenging behaviour, ADHD, Autism, and speech and language difficulties. Key Responsibilities: Provide tailored 1:1 support to students with SEND, including those with ASC (Autism Spectrum Condition), SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health), and ADHD. Assist with behaviour management, social development, and classroom learning. Support students with speech and language needs through targeted interventions and communication strategies. Help create and deliver engaging activities, while tracking and reporting progress. What We're Looking For: At least 2-3 months of experience in a SEND, school, or care setting. A solid understanding of Autism, ADHD, and behavioural needs. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong command of English. Patience, resilience, and a genuine passion for working with children. Based in Burnham, Slough, or surrounding areas. Willingness to apply for a Child Only Enhanced DBS.
