Applications are invited for this job, the duties of which will be to organise and co-ordinate the work of the Lunchtime Supervisors and to be responsible to the Head Teacher for the pupils remaining on the school site during the midday break. You will be required to supervise the pupils remaining on the school premises at lunchtime.
The ability to relate to children/young people from diverse ethnic/social backgrounds is essential for this job, as well as having good verbal communication skills in order to liaise with children/young people and other staff members.
It is essential that you have:
1. Previous experience of working with children/young people in a school environment.
2. Literacy and numeracy skills in order to write simple reports and perform simple calculations.
3. Verbal communication skills in order to liaise with children/young people and other staff members.
As part of your wider duties and responsibilities, you are required to promote and actively support the Council's responsibilities towards safeguarding.
