Job Title: Industrial IT Support Engineer
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Industrial IT Support Engineer to join our team in the UK.
The successful candidate will have an integral role in supporting industrial IT solutions delivered to a leading manufacturer, ensuring incident management and other ITIL based processes are followed while helping to meet our SLA & SMA obligations.
You will act as a first point of contact for IT issues and work closely with other manufacturing teams and individuals to drive incident resolution forward. This role requires the ability to approach, understand and resolve complex technical issues independently or as part of a multi-vendor team.
The ideal candidate has:
* A minimum of 2 years' experience working in a 2nd or 3rd Line Support or equivalent IT engineering role, with expertise in networks, hardware and software.
* An excellent understanding of software and hardware troubleshooting methodology.
* Excellent communication skills to present technical detail clearly and effectively both internally and externally.
* Enthusiasm, self-motivation, and a drive to see their team succeed, with strong customer service focus and organizational skills.
* A willingness to travel to customer sites around the country with varying notice periods and possession of a full UK driving license.
