Specific Accountabilities Consistently acting in line with ‘Our Values’ and behaviours Taking responsibility for your own H&S and site fire safety at all times Delivering the Company retail standards consistently Key Tasks Retail Stock Administration Maintain accurate stock inventory levels and perform regular stock audits to verify accuracy Monitor stock levels and conduct regular stock takes to ensure consistency between physicalstock and system records Manage site stocktakes to ensure that all products are reviewed at least once a year. Identify discrepancies in inventory records and investigate causes to resolve issues promptly Entering information into the ERP system including new lines, promotions and stock adjustment Purchasing Administration Supporting the Purchasing team with the creation and sending of purchase orders Ordering stock as instructed Tracking and monitoring orders from placement to delivery, ensuring timely receipt of items and chasing suppliers where necessary Contacting suppliers by email or phone for any necessary information regarding an order or product Preparing and distributing reports on purchasing activities, order status and inventory levels Implement effective markdown and clearance stratergies to manage end-of-season and slow moving stock. Delivery Administration Processing delivery notes and entering onto the system Creating delivery notes for the Goods Out team Resolving issues related to discrepancies, delayed shipments and product returns Resolving and answering queries related to goods in such as; items delivered with incorrect bar codes, discrepancies in items ordered versus items delivered Resolving and answering queries related to returned/faulty stock You may be required to undertake additional roles and responsibilities as needed to support the business. Skills Understanding of recording of stock and stock management. Basic knowledge of VAT Strong organisational and time-management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record keeping Analytical and problem solving skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise effectively Excellent IT skills This is a full time position, working 5 days per week.
