We are excited to be able to offer a Trainee Clinical Photographer (Band 5 Annex 21) position here at Manchester Foundation Trust Hospital.
The successful candidates will be required to undertake a funded Post Graduate Certificate in Clinical Photography, run by Staffordshire University.
Main Duties of the Job
The post holder will support, contribute, and undertake to provide Clinical Photography & Medical Illustration Services to clinical, nursing, managerial staff and clients/customers within the Trust, other Trusts and outside organizations/academic partners.
You will be helping us to provide a gold standard level of service to our patients, and users on the wards, theatres, clinics, and studio.

Qualifications
Essential criteria:
* Degree level in photography (BA or BSc)
Desirable criteria:
* Diploma in photography or equivalent
Experience
Essential criteria:
* University Graduate or college graduate
Desirable criteria:
* Work experience in a Clinical Photography department
Skills
Essential criteria:
* Good communicator
* Conscientious
* Good team member
* Flexibility
Knowledge
Essential criteria:
* Photographic/Audiovisual knowledge
* Knowledge and experience of a range of photography software i.e. Adobe Suite programmes
* Knowledge of digital imaging techniques and editing
* Evidence of continuing professional development
* Cross platform understanding of PC’s and Mac computers
* Good knowledge of photographic equipment and studio lighting techniques.
* Has an understanding of editorial style’s and publishing processes in a digital environment
Desirable criteria:
* Experience in digital photography and familiar with editing and reproduction software
* An understanding of consent and copyright law.
