Job details
Due to internal progression, we are thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for a fixed-term contract HR Business Partner. Join our ambitious team and contribute to a broad remit of HR activities, including organisational design, development, and change management, with a particular emphasis on complex and challenging Employee Relations (ER) cases.
About the role
As a HRBP, you will confidently handle complex ER cases, including dismissals, appeals, and redundancy consultations. You will understand that employee wellbeing is important, and how you manage your work to resolve cases should take a commercial, and person-centric approach.
You will lead and support change management initiatives to drive organisational transformation.
Reviewing and developing HR policies to ensure they are up-to-date and effective. You will analyse HR data and produce insightful reports to guide decision-making and strategic planning.
Effectively managing relationships with stakeholders, managers, employees, and staff representatives to deliver HR solutions. Additionally, you will participate in various HR and cross-council projects, bringing innovative ideas and new ways of working to the table.
About You
You are an experienced and confident HR Business Partner with a proven track record of managing challenging ER cases and supporting managers through complex situations. As a strategic thinker, you can contribute to strategic HR initiatives and drive organisational change. You are comfortable analysing data and producing reports to inform HR strategies.
Your excellent communication skills enable you to manage stakeholders and deliver effective HR solutions. You are curious and creative, thriving on contributing ideas and improving current practices. Your commitment to delivering exceptional HR services and making a positive impact on staff and customers is evident.
We have achieved great things as a team, and we now are looking for a HRBP who can contribute to the next phase of priorities - new ways of working and supporting our employees and services.
In return, you will be joining a supportive team and an organisation that makes a difference to the lives of residents and communities in our District. This role will be on a full-time basis, although we welcome conversations around how you might work these hours. The HR team split their time between home and office.
If you are a strategic HR professional with a passion for handling complex ER cases and driving organisational change, we would love to hear from you!
