About the role… If you're a skilled Paralegal with experience in Residential, this could be the perfect opportunity for you As a Paralegal in the Residential team, you will handle sales, purchases, and refinancing of both freehold and leasehold residential properties. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated Paralegal looking to grow within the business long-term. While our client is not offering training contracts, there is scope for progression within the business. This is a brand-new role, with responsibilities including, but not limited to: Supporting in the management of residential conveyancing transactions, from instruction through to exchange and completion Review and advise on title, searches and supporting documents Raising and replying to enquiries and liaising with Senior Lawyers when required Prepare and review contract documentation including obtaining titles from the Land Registry. Prepare SDLT/LTT, AP1/FR1, MR01/MR04 forms Dealing with exchange of contracts, completions and ancillary documentation Reviewing source of funds to ensure compliance with AML regulations Keeping abreast with property law changes and conveyancing regulations Establishing and maintaining relationships with potential work providers, including probate law firms, estate agents, and property developers. Responsible for identifying, arranging, and approving indemnity policies What We’re Looking For: 2/3 years of experience as a Residential Paralegal Wants to be a long-term asset to the firm Excellent interpersonal and attention to detail skills First-class organisation skills Degree in Law or training in CILEX Not looking for a training contract
