We are assisting an established, highly rated, and expanding business in their search for a people friendly, professional administrator to assist with the day-to-day incoming enquiries and diary bookings. You will be providing essential support to the team and ensuring that everything behind the scenes runs like clockwork! The role is all about incredible professionalism, communication, and exemplary diary management.
This office-based Administration role is based on the Bromley / Sydenham boarder and is being offered on a permanent, full-time basis – Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm.
Key responsibilities:
* Handling incoming calls, emails, and general enquiries
* Contacting and speaking with potential customers
* Scheduling appointments and coordinating jobs for the site-based teams
* Managing and updating calendars, bookings, and project timelines
* Maintaining office supplies and ensuring the workspace is tidy and efficient
* Completing admin tasks such as document preparation, filing, and data entry
* Liaising with clients and suppliers to ensure clear communication and timely updates
* Keeping internal systems and records up to date
What we are looking for:
* Previous admin or office support experience (ideally in a small or trade-based business)
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
* An articulate and confident telephone manner
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Confident using email, calendars, and basic software (Word, Excel, Outlook or a diary management tool)
* A friendly, can-do attitude and willingness to roll up your sleeves
* An interest in the construction, landscaping, or another ‘trade-based’ industry
