The project:
You will be working for a defence related major infrastructure/construction project in the UK, valued between £100m - £150m. Mace will be the client's representative and will monitor, guide, and report on the principal contractor for the project.
SC Clearance is essential for this role.
Responsibilities:
1. Advocate for Mace's value of safety first, ensuring exceptional safety, quality, cost, programme, sustainability, and project compliance standards.
2. Possess expertise in local health and safety rules and regulations relevant to the project portfolio.
3. Champion a diverse and inclusive working environment and prioritize the wellbeing of your team.
4. Manage the delivery of key assignments and defined business areas, providing strategic direction and monitoring delivery aligned with overall vision and objectives.
5. Support the long-term success of planning performance for specified engines/sectors/hubs, contributing to broader company goals.
6. Support the planning function to ensure projects and tenders are effectively planned, scheduled, and monitored.
7. Work embedded in project teams with D&B contractors to develop and oversee their detailed project schedules.
8. Ensure NEC4 compliance and that D&B contractor schedules include all relevant DEO processes and procedures.
9. Review and provide feedback/approval of regular D&B contractor schedule updates and compensation events/claims.
10. Manage multiple projects based on size and location.
11. Interface with project teams, PMO, and portfolio scheduling to update portfolio-level schedules.

You’ll need to have:
1. Ability to gain UK security clearance - 5 years uninterrupted career in the UK.
2. Experience as a construction scheduler with P6 Primavera.
3. NEC 4 experience.
You’ll also have:
1. Membership of APM, RICS, CIOB, ICE, AACE, IRM, IEMA or equivalent professional development.
2. Extensive experience in successfully planning projects and programmes in the defence sector.
3. Deep property or infrastructure project management expertise.
4. Experience managing relationships with key senior stakeholders.
This role will be based in Moorgate 2-3 days per week.
