Quality Manager Vacancy with Aerospace Manufacturer
4 Day Working Week, 22% Pension and Career Progression to Head of Quality
We have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Manager to join a Global, Tier 1 Aerospace Manufacturer who are rapidly growing. They're looking for a Quality Manager to play a pivotal part in developing the Quality Management System, as well as leading audits, managing APQP/PPAP processes, and driving continuous improvements!

Key Duties & Responsibilities of the Quality Manager:
1. Ensure a continued effective Quality Management System in compliance with applicable Customer, Regulatory, and Third Party requirements.
2. Develop and deliver a programme of Internal Audits to support compliance and improvement.
3. Collation and analysis of Quality performance data to support an effective Management Review Process and Leadership Team inputs.
4. Develop and implement APQP/PPAP processes, aligned to customer requirements and AIAG guidelines.
5. Ensure effective continued supplier assurance activities that support our business needs (Approvals, NCR's, Scorecards etc.).
6. Co-ordination of External Audits.
7. Support the Product Value Stream Teams with the preparation of APQP Quality documentation including Industrial Process Flow Charts, Control Plans, Process FMEAs, Gage R&R/Capability Studies, Quality Plans and Dossiers, compilation of PPAP files.
8. Support with The Head of Quality in progressing our 5 Year Plan Strategic Goals, delivered through annual Strategy Deployment Objectives.
9. Co-ordination and Compilation of First Article Inspection Reports.
10. Completion of Investigations and Improvement Projects identified as a result of internal non-conformities, or as a result of a Customer concern.
11. Ensure any actions allocated to you on Q-Pulse are completed in a satisfactory and timely manner.
Essential Experience for the Quality Manager:
1. 5 years' experience in a Quality Assurance role within Aerospace.
2. Knowledge of APQP, PPAP, Gage R&R and SPC.
3. Writing of Company level Procedures and Working level Instructions.
Desirable Experience:
1. Practical experience of APQP, PPAP, Gage R&R and capability studies.
2. Knowledge of AS9100 Standard.
3. Knowledge of Part 21 Subpart G.
Essential Qualifications:
1. Recognised Qualification in Engineering and/or Quality Assurance.
2. ISO9000/AS9100 Quality Systems.
Desirable Qualifications:
1. Lead Auditor ISO9001/9100 Quality Systems.
