Costing Manager
Salary: £34,500 - £44,850
Location: Cambridge, Hybrid
Contract: Fixed term (12 months), Full time (35 hours per week)

About the role
As a member of our delivery team, you will work with Programme Managers, Project Managers, and other stakeholders to develop the costing and pricing of new opportunities, resource planning, and the transition of new contracts into live delivery, as well as developing and delivering financial reporting for projects and leading on the management and development of our Cost and Pricing Tool.
Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
1. Managing the resource planning and costing for new education reform opportunities, working closely with the Partnership's commercial team and other teams across CUP&A.
2. Maintaining and developing the Cost and Pricing Tool, including working with stakeholders to develop a product roadmap.
3. Financial analysis of projects across the Partnership, including reporting against budgets and original costing to inform future costing.
4. Analysis of supplier costs across the Partnership, working closely with the Supplier Manager.
About you
As our Costing Manager, you have a proven track record of financial reporting and costing of opportunities.
You have a can-do approach and remain calm under pressure. You demonstrate proficiency in financial management, the ability to negotiate competing requests among multiple stakeholders, and are comfortable negotiating with senior colleagues.
You are highly collaborative, work with the utmost integrity and commitment, and are absolutely focused on working with other colleagues to deliver the best possible outcomes for the Partnership and for our customers.
You enjoy international travel and are prepared to travel when required.
