Job Description
We’re working with a major player in the energy and sustainable construction space, looking to hire a Legal Counsel into their London-based legal team.
This is a standout opportunity for a non-contentious construction lawyer to step into an in-house role with real scope. The work is centred around high-value, long-term infrastructure and regeneration projects, with a strong focus on sustainability and public impact.
The role
You’ll be supporting major tenders and live projects from start to finish, including reviewing, drafting and negotiating construction contracts, advising on procurement matters, and helping the business manage legal and commercial risk across complex service-led frameworks.
You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across commercial, project and legal teams, with the backing of a supportive, well-established legal function.
What we’re looking for
1. Qualified lawyer with around 2-7 years’ experience (flexible on level)
2. Strong background in non-contentious construction
3. Familiarity with JCT and NEC contracts
4. Clear, commercial approach and confident working with internal stakeholders
5. Any experience with public sector frameworks or procurement is a plus
If youre looking to move in-house and want to be part of a business driving sustainable change at scale, this is a great place to do it.
