BUSINESS SYSTEMS ANALYST
Starting base salary £47,000 - £59,500*

The Business Systems Analyst is passionate about understanding our client’s business needs and translating them into actionable solutions that create value rapidly. They are a key member of the project team working from design and planning to hand off to operations.
What you will be doing:
1. Leads client-facing and internal discovery sessions to solicit and document customer functional and technical requirements
2. Use information gathered during discovery and discussions with internal teams to assist in creating solution documentation
3. Develops design alternatives, produce work estimates, identify recommendations, and facilitates agreement on designs that satisfy project success factors and reflect industry and software best practices
4. Document scope change requests, work with project management and delivery stakeholders to revise dates and processes as necessary. Participate in calls to educate client and internal teams on the impact of these changes, as necessary
5. Configures various internal and 3rd party software solutions based on the solution design and performing quality assurance to minimize rework
6. Maintains high quality requirements documentation over the life of a project, with a focus on utility over extensiveness
7. Leads regular project discussions with customers and project teams to review work plans, risks, actions, issues, and decisions in an effort to drive projects to completion. Escalates critical issues to leadership for resolution.
8. Consults with internal departments to understand and document the impacts of solution alternatives to support project decision making. Supports identification and documentation of post go live operational procedures for operations teams
9. Designs and delivers internal and client-facing training sessions, and authoring training materials as required (including documents, slide shows, videos,
10. Provides feedback from customers and internal team to our Product Management leads to inform various roadmap activity, brings forward opportunities to improve our software and services based on feedback from customers and market.
What you’ll bring to this role:
11. Organized, clear, concise with the ability to present in an executive boardroom environment
12. Past experience with statement of work (SOW), business requirements definition (BRD), and workflow preparation is essential
13. Strong attention to detail evidenced by direct work experience in a related field such as quality assurance, system configuration, testing, etc.
14. Current with today’s technology and the drive towards business systems being SaaS
15. Strong business process and business logic mindset
