An opportunity has arisen for an exceptional teacher of MFL to join Kings Norton Girls’ School and Sixth Form. The post is available on a permanent contract from Easter or September 2025, working 0.8 FTE. We are an outstanding school achieving excellent pastoral and academic outcomes for students within a culture of care, concern and well-being for both students and staff. The MFL faculty comprises 7 teachers, all of whom are able to teach at least 2 languages, and also a Foreign Language Assistant. We are a well-established, dedicated and highly experienced team who work collaboratively to achieve the best outcomes for our students.
The successful applicant will be an effective classroom practitioner, committed to improving learners’ experiences and attainment through working collaboratively and being willing to adopt new ideas. You should be able to teach French and Spanish to GCSE and ideally at least one of these languages to A level; the ability to teach Spanish to A Level is highly desirable.
