Electrical Supervisor
Solar PV, BESS & Gas peaking (installation and O&M)
UK wide, mostly South & SW
Contract (CIS): up to £32 per hour and bonuses paid
Working hours: 8 a.m.–5 p.m. on site; travel also paid to and from site.
Job Summary
The Electrical Supervisor oversees the installation, testing, and maintenance of utility-scale power generation systems. The role involves managing a team of technicians, ensuring safety and quality compliance, troubleshooting electrical systems, and coordinating project execution to meet deadlines and standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise electrical installations, testing, and maintenance, ensuring compliance with codes and safety regulations.
* Lead and manage technicians, assigning tasks, monitoring quality, and maintaining project schedules.
* Diagnose and resolve electrical faults in systems, including wiring, inverters, and panels.
* Coordinate with project managers and clients, providing progress updates and addressing technical challenges.
* Maintain inventory, oversee safety compliance, and prepare reports on work progress.
Experience
* NVQ Level 3 Electrical qualification with at least 5 years of experience in utility-scale energy systems.
* AM2
* SSSTS desirable (will put through this)
* Strong knowledge of electrical standards, safety regulations, and renewable energy systems, including solar and battery solutions.
* Proven leadership skills and experience in supervising electrical projects.
