Delivering High-Quality Care and Support
We are seeking an experienced Senior Ward Care Manager to join our team at Brighton and Hove Clinic. As a key member of the nursing team, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality care and support for young people aged 12 up to 18 years with a primary diagnosis of eating disorder.
About the Role
* Support the Ward Manager to lead the nursing team in delivering exceptional patient care and promoting good teamwork.
* Empower recovery and deliver supervision to staff across the ward to ensure great healthcare outcomes.
* Work alongside the senior Nurse and Ward Manager to co-ordinate the on-call service and manage the ward budgets.
* Lead by example, acting as a role model to all members of the nursing team and leading care teams.
* Create a positive learning environment that makes a difference and changes lives for the better.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing Clinical Leadership and expertise.
* Providing leadership and guidance to support a unified service and engaged workforce.
* Ensuring that high standards are in place, followed, and improved in accordance with the Clinical Governance framework.
* Utilising and supervising all nursing staff effectively.
* Being an expert resource on Nursing care of service users within the specialism and holding a key role in the multidisciplinary team.
* Maintaining a positive and collaborative environment to allow ward members to reach their potential and maximize their ability to provide high-quality care, staff welfare, and staff training.
* Designated to take charge of the ward in the Ward Manager's absence.
