You will formulate and execute a strategy to maximize business growth. Reporting to our leadership the Sales Manager role works in partnership with Sales, Marketing and other relevant cross functional teams within Medius Group. The Sales Manager will be a high impact individual capable of driving outstanding business results and excellent employee development. You will be fully responsible for developing and managing a team to generate revenue and achieve individual team and organizational KPIs. Aligning to the sales strategy, the Sales Manager shall define and implement plans to achieve sales objectives and for the team to consistently maintain a strong and viable pipeline of new prospects and opportunities. The Sales Manager/ Sales Director must have experience within Spend Management solution Sales specifically within the P2P, AP Automation, Source to Contract S2C, Source to Pay S2P or Payments industry Duties Create and execute a multi-year business development strategy and build a high performance team by hiring, developing and retaining strong talent. Share and practice performance management including project team management and the development of your New Business Sales team. Assist in developing new accounts, manage your team's pipeline. Provide support for the business planning process and training by working closely with all units and all levels of management. Assist in providing strategic direction based on market requirements that impact customers in industry and specific verticals. Develop strong business relationships with both senior management and day-to-day contacts at established and newly developed vendors, customers and prospects. Keep in track with over all Spend Management and Payments industry, partners, competitors etc. The team you lead at Medius UK will directly impact the growth of our overall organization. You would have mastered Sales and Team Development and will have coached your team to develop in their careers, and inspire your team to provide an awesome service by: Providing support and guidance to direct reports by participating and leading in client and prospect meetings or engaging other corporate resources as required. Developing a winning team, including recruiting, hiring and training. Coaching direct reports on strategies to drive new business sales wins. Accurately reporting on sales activity and forecasting to senior Sales management. Consistently monitoring the sales activity of the team, and tracking of results. Actively leading and monitoring demand generation activities. Leading initiatives to drive sales forward. Developing and executing successful sales campaigns. Engaging at C level in enterprise customer organizations. Developing required Corporate relationships and Executive engagement to support success. Requirements and Experience Over 5 years of SaaS sales leadership experience managing a team of sales executives, senior sales executives in the field of Spend Management/Payments industry. In addition, a bachelor's degree is preferred. Proven successful experience in leading a team of Net New Business Account Executives in the field of SaaS particularly in payments/Spend Management industry- eProcurement, eSourcing, Automation and/or Accounts Payable. Proven ability to create high performing teams and lead them to success. Excellent presentation, negotiation and executive engagement skills. Resourceful with a strong drive for results. Consultative selling experience. Strong business acumen. A self-starter that instils enthusiasm and team atmosphere of encouragement, support and help. Experience with ERP and CRM systems such as Sales Force, Gong etc Able to travel where relevant to meet customers. Track record of managing and generating sales from Mid Market and Enterprise Sector Ability to identify, attract and work with system integrators and service provider partners as needed.
