Due to the promotion of the existing post holder, we are pleased to offer an exciting opportunity to apply for a substantive CAMHS Community Service Manager post. The post holder will have responsibility for the generic Scarborough CAMHS Team, Single Point of Access (SPA) Team, Think Together Team, and the Psychologically Informed Partnership (PIPA) Team.
You should be an experienced senior manager with significant knowledge of working within children's mental health services. You will have responsibility for delivering a high-quality service in line with the Long Term Plan and local commissioned expectations. You will also be a valued member of the North Yorkshire and York children's mental health senior leadership team, helping to shape the overall culture and design of the service and contribute to being on call.
There will be a number of options for your base, but there will be a requirement to be able to independently travel to other team bases for meetings and to support other CAMHS teams/service managers as and when required across the North Yorkshire footprint. There will be an expectation for the post holder to be visible across all the teams within their portfolio.
Main Duties of the Job
As a CAMHS Community Service Manager, you will be accountable for the strategic development, operational management, and quality of care delivered by the community teams in your portfolio.
You will hold responsibility for ensuring clear interfaces with the collective team at service management level are in place in supporting the CAMHS/LD General Manager with our Journey to Change.
In conjunction with the clinical leads, maintaining the highest standards of safe care delivery to all clients and their carers will be an essential core responsibility, as well as ensuring the delivery of key performance requirements and the fidelity of the operational model.
