We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Primary Teaching Assistant to join a vibrant, supportive school in the heart of Greenwich. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking for a rewarding role, working alongside talented educators to make a difference in the lives of young learners.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Classroom Support: Assist teachers in delivering interactive and engaging lessons, preparing learning materials, and working with small groups to reinforce key concepts.
2. Individualized Assistance: Provide tailored support to pupils, including those with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND), to ensure they can access the curriculum effectively.
3. Behaviour Management: Promote positive behaviour, following school policies to create a safe and respectful learning space.
4. Progress Monitoring: Observe and record pupil development, offering constructive feedback to teachers and contributing to assessment and planning.
Qualifications & Skills:
1. Previous experience working with primary-aged children (preferred but not essential).
2. A genuine passion for education and supporting young learners.
3. Strong communication and teamwork skills.
