Day to Day Duties
As HR Advisor your duties will involve:
* Advising business leaders on Performance Management, Disciplinaries, Grievances, Dismissals and Contractual Issues.
* Assisting with the recruitment, selection and onboarding of new employees.
* Maintaining HR policies, procedures and practices and ensuring any changes to legislation are reflected accordingly and within governed time-frames.
* Managing employee records and maintaining accurate data.
* Coordinating with external payroll service provider for seamless payroll execution, ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll data.
* Coordinating and optimising our HR Information and Time & Attendance Systems ensuring record accuracy and compliance.
* Managing, reviewing and administering the company employee benefits.
* Maintaining awareness and understanding of current HR legislative requirements as well as any proposed or future changes that may affect the Company.
* Creating strong working relationships with stakeholders to influence and deliver value to the business.
* Actively participating in HR projects and supporting the implementation of new personnel policies.
* Ensuring regulatory compliance e.g. Right to work, Internal policies.
* Conducting exit interviews.
Essential Skills
It is essential as a HR Advisor that you:
* Have a Degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent combination of training and experience.
* Hold a CIPD Level 5 or equivalent as a minimum.
* Possess strong experience in a generalist HR, advisor or business partner role.
* Have a good working knowledge of UK employment law.
* Have knowledge of HR systems and databases (Oracle, ADP).
* Understand HR best practices, including applicable employment laws and regulations in the UK.
* Have experience with complex ER cases.
* Exhibit a high level of discretion and confidentiality, with the ability to handle personal and confidential information with tact and professionalism.
