Product Design Engineer / Design Engineer / Mechanical Design Engineer to join a leading HVAC manufacturer. The successful Product Design Engineer / Design Engineer / Mechanical Design Engineer will be responsible for compiling the design and continuous improvement of products in line with specifications, taking projects from sales stage to handover, of mechanical systems such as air heaters, heat convectors, fan coils and fan convectors. This Product Design Engineer / Design Engineer / Mechanical Design Engineer ideally will have knowledge of the HVAC industry while those with general sheet metal product design and fluency in 3D CAD packages are also to be considered. The role will be office-based, with some remote working, near Nuneaton. Package £45,000-£55,000 Pension Contribution 25 days holiday, plus bank holidays Product Design Engineer / Design Engineer / Mechanical Design Engineer Role: Responsible for compiling the design and continuous improvement of products in line with specifications of mechanical systems such as air heaters, heat convectors, fan coils and fan convectors Take responsibility for cost reduction and manufacturing efficiency on active projects Ensure designs are in line with regulatory requirements and bespoke client expectations Liaise with various engineering departments Discuss feasibility of projects and present concept ideas Able to commute to the office near Nuneaton Product Design Engineer / Design Engineer / Mechanical Design Engineer Requirements: Experience as a Product Design Engineer / Design Engineer / Mechanical Design Engineer other relevant titles ideally with knowledge of the HVAC industry HND or higher education qualification in Product Design Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field is preferred Knowledge of materials, mechanical assembly, and manufacturing processes Background in sheet metal design, ideally in the HVAC industry Fluency in the use of 3D CAD software, Solid Edge preferred Valid UK Driving Licence Able to commute to the office near Nuneaton ADZN1_UKTJ
