Job Duties:
1. Provide tailored English and Maths tuition to Key Stage 3 students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
2. Develop and deliver engaging and effective lesson plans to support students' academic progress.
3. Assess students' learning needs and adapt teaching methods accordingly.
4. Monitor and track student progress, providing feedback and support as required.
5. Collaborate with colleagues and parents to ensure a holistic approach to student development.
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working with students with SEMH needs
- Strong knowledge of the KS3 English and Maths curriculum
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Education or related field
Experience:
Minimum of 2 years' experience in teaching KS3 English and Maths
Knowledge and Skills:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet individual student needs
- Strong classroom management abilities
- Proficiency in using educational technology to enhance learning
Preferred Qualifications:
- Postgraduate qualification in Special Education Needs (SEN)
- Additional training in behaviour management strategies
Working Conditions:
- Work in a school or learners home setting with regular school hours
- May require some additional hours for planning and assessment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
