What will you be doing?
Subsea7 are looking for a skilled SAP Ariba Specialist to join our IT SAP support team in Westhill, Aberdeen office on a permanent basis.
The SAP Ariba Specialist will join Subsea7's existing team of SAP support experts and will report into the SAP SCM Team Lead. This role will also work closely with the Global SAP Manager and stakeholders from the Supply Chain Management business community.
Ariba has been installed and operational within Subsea7 for several years but with our current global programme to move the ERP system from ECC to S4, a requirement has been identified to increase the team size in this space.
Ariba modules in scope include: Ariba Sourcing, Ariba Contracts, Ariba Supplier Lifecycle Performance.
* Promote global functional and IT Support standard processes within Subsea7.
* Work closely with the SAP Support Team, the SCM business and third-party support providers to deliver robust and 'fit for purpose' solutions.
* Identify opportunities for Subsea7 to gain efficiencies from using our SAP solutions in a more efficient way.
* Support the SAP SCM Team Lead and Global SAP Manager in roadmap planning & delivery.
* Prioritise and deliver approved Change Requests and support calls for related modules of SAP and SAP Ariba.
* Manage & coordinate testing of all configuration changes made to SAP Ariba.
* Proactively engages with software & consulting partners to understand future technology trends and define their relevance and potential to Subsea7.
* Provide support and assistance to super user communities in SCM.
* Provide necessary input & support to end users - countries supported include UK, Norway, US, Mexico, Brazil, Asia Pacific, France, and Africa.
* Assist with the translation of business requirements into SAP functionality and manage the expectations of the business where appropriate.
* Accountable for adherence to security and architectural standards for SAP related systems, processes and services.

EXPERIENCE
* Prior experience of working in a SAP IT support organisation.
* Prior experience of the technical and functional aspects of the Ariba modules in scope (Sourcing, Contract, Supplier Lifecycle Performance)
* Working to ITIL standard processes and procedures
* Appreciation of Change Management and Testing requirements and procedures.
SKILLS
Technical:
* Solid technical and functional knowledge of the SAP Ariba modules: Ariba Sourcing, Ariba Contracts, Ariba Supplier Lifecycle Performance (Essential). Certification in the defined modules would be beneficial.
* Enhanced Knowledge of SAP technical architecture would be beneficial.
Interpersonal:
* Communicates clearly and articulately, both verbally and in writing. Ability to translate this skill into the provision of effective training.
* Customer focused with the ability to build and maintain effective relationships at all levels across the business, seeks to improve through feedback and self-learning.
