Currently, we are looking for enthusiastic Band 5 Neonatal Nurse to join our busy team at University Hospital Coventry & Warwickshire.
You would provide optimum quality of care to patients, offering support to the multi-professional team. Will take management responsibility for an identified area on regular shifts and support junior colleagues.

Please apply for this job as soon as you can, if interested., UHCW'S Level III Neonatal Unit provides a wide range of services to sick newborn babies and forms part of the South West Midlands Newborn Network. We currently look after up to 8 Intensive care cots, 8 High dependency cots, 14 Special care cots and 4 Transitional care cots. Our registered nurses all rotate between areas. We are looking for motivated nurses to join our team.
The unit provides family centred care to a range of babies from those born extremely prematurely around 22 weeks gestation to term babies who are sick at birth. We offer therapies such as Nitric Oxide and Cooling, using state of the art, new equipment.
The unit has built an excellent reputation for high quality healthcare and outstanding career development. We support extended roles such as Transport nurses, Neonatal educational practitioners, Research nurses, Advanced neonatal nurse practitioners, Developmental care nurse & Infant feeding nurse roles. We also encourage development onto Mentoring and Management courses to help you progress to your career. Our team of nurses also help support parent resuscitation training, Sibling support sessions as well as monthly parent coffee mornings and yearly 'Graduate' parties. We are also proud to have a team of UHCW change makers on the unit who are given time to enhance communications between staff and higher management as well as promoting a social, nurturing environment for staff., Due internal promotions we require motivated, innovative, dynamic and friendly band 5 Nurses with or without the Neonatal Specialist Qualification to join our expert team of clinical staff.
