You will be supporting a group of people who live in their own independent flats in the same building on Union Street, Aberdeen. The people we support live very independently with different levels of support required. They enjoy volunteering, having activities within the community, travelling, seeing different cities and towns and going to different events like football, wrestling and craft clubs. It is important that the people we support live as independent as possible with the support of our staff. They like their staff to encourage them to be active and remind them of the importance making their own choices and to support them in what they like to do. We provide paid training to help you succeed in your role, so all staff are trained on epilepsy awareness, trauma informed care, medication administration, personal care and adult support and protection.
