This is a fixed term role of 12 months for maternity cover Your key responsibilities as a Hatchery Office and Transport Supervisor will include: • To support the management team through admin and various other office duties. • To check stock weekly and order supplies to ensure that we do not run out of PPE, chemicals, vaccines, consumables, fuel, office supplies and anything else that we may need. • To use in-house computer programmes to keep hatchery records up to date and to purchase stock. • To answer the phone and the gate and to spray the wheels of any vehicles entering the premises. • To have visitors sign in as soon as they enter the hatchery. • To make sure that we are compliant in terms of transport through record keeping and monitoring. • To schedule and book in vehicles for safety inspections, tail lift weight tests and LOLERs, MOTs and repairs. • To check driver documentation every 12 and keep a record. • To monitor and support drivers in their duties and their paperwork. • To use online systems to maintain records and generate reports for driver hours, working time, infringements etc. • To accommodate internal and external transport audits by ensuring that everything regarding transport meets all legal and company requirements. What we are looking for: • Previous office administration experience in transport essential. • Attention to detail. • Excellent communication skills. • A flexible working approach and self-motivated. • CPC preferred but not essential as full training will be provided.
