Junior Credit Controller - Garvagh - Permanent

This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a growing finance team, working with a business that serves over 2,000 clients across Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
The Role:
* Salary: £Negotiable salary depending on experience
* Location: Garvagh
* Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 am – 5:00 pm

As a Junior Credit Controller, you will play a key role in managing customer accounts, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining accurate financial records. Duties will include:
Credit Control & Account Management
* Proactively chase outstanding payments via phone and email
* Monitor customer credit limits and escalate risks where necessary
* Process and reconcile payments via BACS, credit card, and other methods
* Investigate and resolve queries related to invoices and payments
* Prepare and distribute monthly customer statements and aged debt reports
Customer Service & Relationship Management
* Build and maintain positive relationships with customers.
* Respond promptly and professionally to queries regarding invoices, payments, and account balances.
Administrative Support
* Maintain accurate records of all credit control activities.
* Assist with general finance-related administrative tasks.
* Support continuous improvement initiatives in credit control processes.
What we’re looking for:
* Experience in credit control or accounts receivable is desirable but not essential.
* Strong communication and negotiation skills.
* Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
* Good organisational and time management skills.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
