People Development Partner - Talent Development
18Recruitment are looking for a People Development Partner to work as part of their clients Talent Development team on a contract basis until March 2025.
Main Responsibilities:
1. Work with the Head of Learning and Talent Development to deliver the learning agenda for specific business areas, adopting an agile mindset to adapt the plan to reflect emerging business needs.
2. Act as a key contact and Learning Partner to your business area, building relationships with stakeholders and acting as a conduit for learning requirements to be supported via yourself and the People Development team.
3. Carry out data led training needs analysis, utilising all available insights to identify gaps and areas of development to form the overall delivery plan, following the 70:20:10 model.
4. Ensure that projects are organised well to successfully deliver planned activities.
5. Provide high quality, specialist, L&D advice and coaching to leaders across the business to enable them to develop themselves and the capability of their people both individually and collectively.
6. Utilise research and analytics tools, including the capability framework to design and deliver creative and innovative learning interventions that develop capability, skills and create behavioural change in colleagues and leaders across the business.
7. Design and deliver onboarding programmes to ensure a best-in-class leadership onboarding experience for internal and external leaders at all roles across the organisation.
8. Lead on the procurement, design and delivery of a suite of innovative and future focused leadership development programmes and initiatives.
9. Deliver high quality learning and development initiatives, including workshops, virtual learning, action learning sets and group or individual coaching to leaders across all levels within the business.
10. Build relationships with leadership stakeholders across the business, acting as the credible expert around talent and leadership development discussions.
11. Keep up to date with trends and new innovations in learning that may support best in class delivery.
12. Build awareness of learning opportunities through effective use of communication platforms including Viva Engage, MyLearning, internal communications channels and others.
13. Coach and mentor more junior members of the People Development team where required.
Ideal Candidate:
1. Passionate about staying connected to current thinking and trends relating to learning and development.
2. Ability to create momentum and inspire others, with excellent communication skills.
3. Ability to coach effectively, deliver feedback and advise on appropriate initiatives as a credible L&D expert.
4. Self-motivated and able to work independently/remotely where required.
5. A proactive team player who can spot opportunities to improve and work with colleagues at all levels to develop new approaches.
6. A track record of creating and maintaining strong working relationships and working collaboratively with colleagues, both on-site and remotely.
7. Understanding and experience of project management principles.
8. Comfortable delivering different subject matter to varying levels of colleague (up to and including senior leadership roles).
9. Proven partnering experience in a fast-paced learning environment.
10. Proven learning design and delivery experience in a blended learning capacity.
11. Experienced professional with in depth knowledge of design and delivery of leadership development interventions targeted at leaders from first line up to and including head of level.
12. Proven ability to co-create and collaborate with colleagues to achieve a successful outcome.
13. Excellent research and analytical skills - able to utilise information and data to be able to design and deliver interventions that meet learner needs today and, in the future.
14. Ability to work collaboratively to develop and deliver appropriate solutions.
15. Organisation and planning skills.
16. Strong relationship building and influencing skills.
17. Excellent written and oral communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate complex ideas and information to a range of audiences and stakeholders.
Working Hours:
Monday - Friday 9am - 4:30pm - 2 days in the office 3 days from home.
Salary:
£34.07p/h PAYE UMB.
Contract:
Contract until March 2025.
