Your Role: As an Applications Support Analyst, you'll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring our systems and applications run smoothly and efficiently. Based in either Leeds or Manchester, you'll enjoy a flexible work environment with the expectation of being onsite just 2 days a week. What You'll Do: Support Excellence: Provide top-notch support for business-critical applications, including occasional out-of-hours support. Leadership: Lead technical issues and mentor less experienced team members. Maintenance & Monitoring: Keep our applications running efficiently and monitor daily activities. User Assistance: Respond promptly to user inquiries and troubleshoot application issues. Collaboration: Work closely with Service & Engineering teams to resolve technical challenges. Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of processes, troubleshooting results, and application changes. Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement service improvement initiatives. What We're Looking For: Experience: Proven experience in an application support team within an ITIL environment. Technical Skills: Strong understanding of software applications, database technologies, and operating systems. Knowledge of SQL Server, HTML, XML, FTP, C#, and .NET. Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze complex technical issues and devise effective solutions. Communication: Excellent communication skills to explain technical matters to non-technical users and collaborate with team members.
