Job Purpose
As part of the company's growth, our client is preparing to invest in CNC machinery. Initially, this role will focus on manual machining, with plans for the successful candidate to transition to CNC operations as the company's capabilities expand. This position is ideal for individuals seeking to develop their technical expertise, actively engage in the CNC implementation process, and contribute to the company's ongoing success.
HNC/HND or Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
Ideally Time Served Precision Machinist.
Experience working in a high precision environment, working to microns with castings (not sheet-metal).
Highly process driven and methodical, with experience of continuous improvement and lean.
A genuine passion for engineering. Hobbies within this such as stripping down engines and building up cars.
Excellent communication skills.
