Responsibilities
Main duties:
1. To cover existing key accounts and new business in the UK region in addition to Ireland; the job could expand outside the UK.
2. Identify and generate leads that are potential users of packaging products.
3. Communicate and follow up with the factories for prices, testing, and agreeing margins.
4. Drive sales lead converting process into prospects and potential customers.
5. Liaise and coordinate with the sales team to guarantee continuous sales support.
6. Coordinate with product managers of the factories for customer visits when required.
7. Collect and process purchase orders, follow up with customer services for updates.
8. Visit customers frequently in person and maintain follow-up on potential customers.
9. Analyse data related to the targeted products and recommend pricing strategy.
10. Set sales forecast and annual budgets in coordination with the senior sales managers.
11. Follow up on unmet sales forecast in coordination with the senior sales managers.
12. Draft a marketing expansion plan and achieve the plan by number of forecasted prospects.
13. Conduct competition studies, update, and analyse the competitors’ profiles and offerings.
14. Equip and assist the sales force with product knowledge and communication.
15. Seek new ideas and remain updated on the latest trends, technologies, and processes.
Candidate's Profile
1. Fluent in English to business level (written and spoken).
2. Additional European languages such as French, Dutch, German, Spanish, or Italian – Advantageous.
3. Experience in the sales of flexible packaging products for the Food and catering, industrial, agricultural, and Hygiene sectors.
4. Self-driven, have self-initiative, and responsible for growing the sales of packaging products in the region responsible for.
5. Team player, dynamic, flexible, and adaptable to changes are key elements for success.
6. Happy to travel in the UK and IRE on a weekly basis (50% time).
