Job Role: Civils Site Supervisor 6 month contract role Location: Cumbria Salary: £260 per day plus accommodation, vehicle and fuel. The Opportunity We are looking for a civils site supervisor to join a network construction project across Cumbria. This is a challenging project and FTTP network deployment programme and you would come into the region at a stage of remobilisation which means we need strong contractor side supervisors with a big focus on the compliance of the build and associated reinstatement. Responsibilities: You will be reporting to the contract manager and will be managing the contract partners whilst driving operational performance on the programme in line with Openreach PIA standards and the NRSWA. This is mainly sub-duct and blockages so compliance and quality are the key points you'll own and review build packs, method statements, and run a tight ship when it comes to delivery, performance and quality and will be the point of authority when it comes to approving/rejecting works and the associated invoices, and as-built submissions. Your Background: This is FTTP and as such, you'll likely be a known figure in the industry and come with the ability to act decisively, hit the ground running, and own all aspect of civils build and delivery within the contractor side, NRSWA environment. You'll need an expert level of knowledge of NRSWA and the permitting requirements and SROH / reinstatement and will hold a current NRSWA supervisor, SA001 and SA002 with S6 and S7 being ideal - we can offer training on the S6 and S7 but the other qualifications need to be current and valid to be considered. Experience of delivering projects in rural environments and the associated challenges would be a real advantage. You'll be on patch for the full working week through Monday to Friday and accommodation will be provided locally and same with vehicle / fuel. SSSTS/SMSTS would be preferred. The role is a day rate contract basis and is likely to be via the CIS route. Start will be ASAP in December so definitely this side of Christmas. ADZN1_UKTJ
