Job summary An opportunity has arisen to join our dedicated team of sonographers delivering excellent patient care in the Imaging and Antenatal ultrasound departments at Chesterfield Royal Hospital and community bases. The successful applicant will hold a CASE accredited Post Graduate Ultrasound qualification, and ideally be HCPC registered, although registration with the SOR public voluntary register of sonographers will be accepted The department delivers ultrasound services in the clinical areas of abdominal, gynaecology, obstetrics, vascular, MSK, head and neck, small parts and intervention. The successful candidate should ideally be competent in more than one of these clinical areas. There will be a requirement to work at several locations within Chesterfield and the surrounding area, including Matlock and Buxton, so personal transport is a consideration. The advertised posts are to enable increasing ultrasound activity at two Community Diagnostic Centres, which are planned to operate 7 days a week, 8am - 8pm. The successful candidate(s) will join the team working at several locations.
