The Role: We are working with a market leader in the world of electrical manufacturing - renowned for their consumer units, junction boxes, wiring accessories and electrical sockets. They have thousands of products which put together make electricians & electrical contractors lives so much easier for the jobs they're working on. They are on the hunt for a Contractor Sales Manager to cover the 'M4 Corridor' region which spans from Bristol across to London with a focus on the Greater London area and the Western M25. The Contractor Sales Manager will be responsible for building relationships directly with the electrical contractors working on multiple commercial projects across the region. You will manage the pipeline of opportunities through to close, that is where you will bring the distribution sales team into the mix as all sales will be back-sold via the wholesale partners. This role is perfect for someone who understands the electrical market and dealing directly with contractors.
Job Responsibilities:
The Contractor Sales Manager can go on joint visits to sites with their distribution partners & in-house distribution sales team to provide support & training on the product with a view to driving sales through the branch network for the projects you are working on. You will be visiting multiple sites & contractors per day, supporting with planning, pipeline, and some specification role where necessary. In addition, the Contractor Sales Manager will be the face of the business at trade events and shows.

They have a market-leading name, are well respected in the electrical wholesale community, and are trusted by electricians & contractors across the UK. We are looking for individuals who meet the following criteria:
* Have a B2B field sales track record in the electrical sector
* Understanding of the sales process with electrical contractors
* Have an appreciation for wiring & electrical regulations for commercial projects
* Professional in approach and an eagerness and willingness to learn & develop
* Lives on patch
* Full & Clean Driving licence
Salary: £45,000 - 50,000 basic salary DOE + £8k-10k bonus paid quarterly + Company (hybrids) + 25 days holiday + pension scheme + healthcare scheme
Candidate Location: Bristol, Swindon, Reading, Guildford
