£130 -£180 per day PAYE (salary is depending on experience and/or qualifications)

A specialist setting, created to provide a safe and calm space for children unable to cope within a mainstream school, are seeking a Teacher for the remainder of the academic year. The successful candidate will have a relaxed yet professional teaching style, and be able to build rapport and respect with children that have often arrived from traumatic backgrounds. The Teacher must be able to regulate emotional behaviour with resilience and consistency, and provide both educational and pastoral care to some very vulnerable children. Learners who attend here are aged between 6-18 years of age, and teaching is on a 1:1 or small group basis. Classrooms are well resourced with designated spaces available for independant study and reflection, and a rich and engaging curriculum lies in wait for its learners.
Part of the role may involve taking key children out into the community, therefore a confident driver would be desirable but this is not essential.Working hours are 08:30-15:30.

Requirements
The desired Teacher will have:
- A fully enhanced DBS registered to the update service, along with 2 professional references.
- QTS, or good levels of experience of Teaching in UK schools
- Able to commute into Bridgwater for an 8:30am start
- This role is open to part-time or full-time Teachers
