Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen to apply for the role of a Cancer tracker and Support MDT Co-ordinator within the Urology Directorate. Do you have excellent administration skills, a good eye for detail and the tenacity to "go that extra mile? The post holder will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and will provide expertise in the proactive administrative management from referral to treatment or discharge. Working closely alongside the existing MDT coordinators and trackers you will help manage and organise the patients who are required for discussion at the weekly MDT meetings and track patients through their cancer pathway ensuring accurate data collection. The post holder will be the point of contact for all administrative issues relating to patients' pathways of care, working alongside consultants and other disciplines of clinical staff. Main duties of the job Support tracking of the tumour sites within Urology, monitor patient's progress to ensure diagnostic procedures and treatments are planned to meet the patient's needs and the Cancer pathway waiting time standards.
