HR Advisor
My client are a leading international civil engineering company, specialising in complex market segments such as Transportation, Energy, Tunnelling, Building, Civil and Structural Engineering.
About the role
My client are looking to expand their team with skilled and enthusiastic individuals to deliver a tunnelling project in the beautiful region of Snowdonia, North Wales. Their work will significantly enhance the visual impact of the area, burying a network of overhead cables and removing several pylons to restore and protect the natural beauty, wildlife and environmental heritage of this precious landscape.
The project requires an on-site Human Resources Advisor to adopt the first line contact and support for all project resources on HR and employee relations matters. You will be required to advise, support, influence and where appropriate, challenge managers on operational decisions to facilitate their following of HR best practice in activities including: recruitment, disciplinary, grievance, induction and training. You will take the lead on championing Equality, Diversity and Respect on the project and will have experience in working in a single site HR Advisor role or a small cluster role.
About you
You should be qualified to at least a Level 3 CIPD qualification and be able to demonstrate a proven track record in managing a wide variety of HR related issues. You must be confident in building strong credible relationships with managers, acting as a mentor when advising on all people issues, plans and strategies where appropriate.
Previous experience of working in a Civil Engineering/Tunnelling organisation is desirable but not essential.
