Long-term contract role onsite at Middlesbrough.
Renewable energy client requires a Fabrication Supervisor with welding qualifications for the oversight of Mono piles and secondary structures in Middlesbrough.
Key Responsibilities:
* Ensure technical requirements are met.
* Oversee welding fabrication, ensuring it meets specified requirements.
Requirements:
* Practical and theoretical experience in fabrication and inspection, including:
* IWI International Welding Inspector, IWS International Welding Specialist, IWT International Welding Technician, or IWE International Welding Engineer. NDT level II or III (desirable).
* Frosio level III / NACE (desirable).
* Bachelor's or master's degree in civil or mechanical engineering, with practical experience in heavy-duty steel structure manufacturing (desirable).
* Technical expertise, adaptability, teamwork skills, strong communication abilities, and English proficiency.
* Good written and verbal English skills.
* Minimum 10 years of site experience on fabrication yards, pre-assembly, or construction sites.
* Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position.
* All relevant safety training to perform the job.
* Innovative, quick learner, with a track record of using latest coating processes and technologies.
* Ensure all involved personnel understand specifications, HSE, drawings, and documentation.
* Implement interfaces and cooperation with other disciplines.
* Monitor activities with representatives from Contractors/sub-contractors and supervise inspectors from other disciplines.
* Monitor working progress against schedule and highlight areas of concern and possible corrective actions.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
* Excellent time management and leadership skills.
* Ability to interact and supervise in a nationally diverse environment.
