Belmont Recruitment are seeking an experienced Training and Development Officer to work with Greater Manchester Police within their Organisational Learning & Workforce Development team. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week (Mon – Fri) based at the force’s training academy in Prestwich. In this role, you will develop innovative learning solutions using the latest technologies to enhance training delivery for both internal and external customers. Key Responsibilities: Research and implement learning technologies to enhance training delivery Develop and deliver high-quality blended learning solutions Design and create interactive learning materials, including eLearning, video, and digital content Monitor and improve training efficiency, ensuring alignment with organisational priorities Support and maintain the eLearning system Provide help desk support for eLearning inquiries Collaborate with other organisations and external agencies on training initiatives Ensure compliance with data protection, equality, and diversity policies Essential Criteria: A relevant degree or extensive recent experience in learning and development Experience in training design and delivery, incorporating various learning methodologies Proficiency in creating digital learning content using software tools Strong project management and communication skills Knowledge of IT training methods and relevant software/hardware applications Ability to work collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced environment A full UK driving licence and flexibility to work from various locations If this role is of interest to you, please apply with your updated CV or contact Leah at Belmont Recruitment
