Propel is currently working with an exciting hospitality technology company that is looking to expand its marketing team in the UK. They are seeking a talented and experienced Marketing Executive to help drive brand engagement, content creation, and event execution.
About the Role This is a key hire for the UK team in 2025, with the Marketing Executive expected to be a well-rounded generalist with strong experience in compelling social media production and data-led research. The role will support marketing initiatives across the UK and Nordics, covering research, writing, social media, email marketing, SEO, and event coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Market Research and Insight
* Conduct annual market research to produce industry-leading reports on key trends in the hospitality sector.
* Collaborate with local teams, meet with customers, and stay informed on industry developments through events and news sources.
* Bring insights back to the marketing and sales teams to inform campaigns and strategies.
Campaign Execution
* Work closely with the UK Marketer and Commercial teams to create and execute multi-stage marketing campaigns targeting hotels, restaurants, and catering businesses.
* Develop campaigns that drive top-of-funnel awareness, middle-funnel education, and bottom-funnel product inquiries.
Events Coordination
* Support the planning and execution of digital, tradeshow, and hosted events.
* Manage event logistics, including venue selection, vendor coordination, invitations, registrations, and on-site support.
* Contribute to the annual Hospitality conference, Shine, which gathers 200 industry leaders for a day of learning and networking.
Content Creation and Social Media Development
* Produce high-quality written, visual, and multimedia content for websites, social media, blogs, newsletters, and marketing materials.
* Conduct research to ensure content accuracy and relevance to the English-speaking audience.
* Implement SEO best practices and optimise content for organic search visibility.
* Create engaging social media content, including bite-sized videos, and manage audience interactions.
* Leverage internal subject matter experts to enhance content impact.
What You Bring
* 2-3 years of experience in marketing, preferably in a B2B environment.
* Strong content creation skills across written, visual, and social media formats.
* Native or near-native English proficiency with excellent communication skills.
* A creative and fearless approach to marketing, with a knack for engaging audiences.
* Familiarity with SEO best practices and data-driven marketing strategies.
* Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
* Positive, energetic, and team-oriented attitude.
