About this role
Our Support Technicians look after service in the Field – this means working on-site with our diverse range of customers, from small local businesses to large FTSE 100 corporate organisations. Some of our larger and complex customers have very specific needs from our teams. As a Field Support Technician, you will work on customer sites every day, where you’ll help with installations, set-up, install, and carry out non-complex and simple repairs.
You will also confidently discuss ideas and problems customers may have in connection with the BT portfolio, ensuring their services and solutions are optimised. You will make recommendations on new digital product and service solutions.
This is an incredible opportunity for someone who is passionate about technology. We’ll provide all the training you need to progress your career within the Field and beyond. Behaviour is more important to us, so if you have a proactive attitude and love having great conversations, apply today!
About the apprenticeship you’ll study for
This apprenticeship will last 18 months, with a minimum of 20% of your working hours dedicated to learning and studying. You’ll also complete one “study day” a week, leading to a level 3 qualification in Information Communication.
Entry Requirements
You’ll need five GCSEs at grades 4-9 (C or above), including English and Maths, or equivalent qualifications. This is a field role requiring travel, so you’ll need a full manual driving licence with no more than six points. If you do not have a licence now, you must ensure you pass your test no later than one month before your start date.
All applicants will need a full UK Right to Work for the duration (18 months) of their scheme.
