Supported Housing Projects Manager – Hwb Hillgrove, Bangor, Gwynedd
Salary scale £33,727.72 - £34,632.00 (point 33 to 34)
37 hours per week (Mainly Monday to Friday although flexibility is required)
Plus Managers on-call every 4 - 5 weeks (for which an additional payment will be made).
We are looking for a Supported Housing Projects Manager who has a good understanding of the housing/homelessness sector, a range of line management skills and abilities, the vision and ambition to develop and deliver an outstanding 24-hour staff cover service for young people.
You will be a resilient and supportive operational manager, a team player, able to lead and develop your staff to deliver high quality services that help young people recognise their own strengths, develop independent living skills, and move away from homelessness for good.
The post holder will be required to have:
• Experience of staff line management.
• Experience of housing management.
• Experience of ensuring the health & safety of others and the building, including Safeguarding.
• Excellent I.T skills, verbal, written, & communication skills.
• Be highly organised.
• Having empathy and understanding of the needs of those affected by
homelessness and an understanding of the impact of Adverse Childhood Experiences.
• Have a flexible approach to working hours including covering an out of hours on-call rota (circa every 5 to 6 weeks) for which an additional payment is made.
